The core requirements of this product are: the outer layer needs an extremely soft silicone material to ensure the most comfortable experience when in contact with the skin; while the inner layer needs a tougher silicone structure to ensure the stability and durability of the tool. The combination of these two silicone materials must ensure both exquisite appearance and functional balance.

After many discussions and experiments with the customer, we determined the technical route of silicone-in-silicone: the outer layer uses ultra-soft medical-grade silicone, and the inner layer uses high-strength industrial-grade silicone, which are combined through advanced overmolding technology.

  In the technical implementation, the most challenging part is how to achieve seamless fusion of these two silicone materials with completely different properties during the high temperature and high pressure molding process. We adopted multi-layer mold technology to inject the outer layer of silicone and the inner layer of silicone into different mold cavities respectively, ensuring that during the coating process, each layer of silicone can be evenly attached to the surface of the product without any bubbles or defects.
